Lakeview Fire Protection District is a combination volunteer/staffed fire service in eastern Tuscaloosa county serving more than 4000 residential homes and families. The district provides service over 26 sq miles area that includes both unincorporated Tuscaloosa County and the Town of Lake View*. We operate out of two stations and rely primary on volunteer service but Station 1 is staffed 24 hours a day. We also offer fire and safety information to the community and for younger members of the community offer a Fire Service Explorers Post. The district is governed by a seven member board that meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm at Station 1. Meeting are open to the public and encouraged to attend. The district operates from funds generated by fire dues, grants and donations. It is our goal to provide the best service possible to our community.
